Our comprehensive motorcycle training course is a 15-hour program, including 5 hours of classroom instruction (morning and night schedules available) and 10 hours of hands-on riding instruction on our 500cc Harley-Davidson XG Street motorcycles. Completion of this course earns you a California DMV M1 Motorcycle License, opening the door to endless riding adventures.

One Saturday per month, weather permitting, our Rider Academy Graduates receive the golden ticket – an invitation to join the exhilarating "Grad Ride" to The Rock Store, on the iconic Mulholland highway in Malibu. Picture this: a Saturday morning group of a dozen riders meetup at 9 am at Bartels Harley-Davidson, where the excitement begins.
Our dynamic duo, our top two instructors, will lead the way through the twists and turns of Mulholland, ensuring a ride to remember. Capture the moment with a breathtaking photo opportunity on Mulholland, courtesy of Highway Photos. Then, the adventure doesn't end there – everyone is invited to ride back to Bartels Harley-Davidson for a sizzling Saturday BBQ at lunchtime.
