Our History
The original dealership in Culver City had 5,000 sq ft in 1983. The current dealership at Marina del Rey started at 20,000 sq.ft., and now we have over 40,000 sq ft., an enjoyable place to hangout.
Bill and Ron Bartels established the dealership in 1983, years before owning a H.O.G.® was fashionable. Success came only from relentless work and a sound commitment to the customer. With the support of his wife Merle, and later their partner Forrest Nolin, Bartels' Harley-Davidson® has become the Hangout we all enjoy.
Forrest Nolin has been an avid Harley-Davidson® rider and enthusiast since age 17. With over 30 years of sales experience Forrest has vast experience of the Harley-Davidson® industry. As vice president and general partner, he helped to bring the dealership to where it is today.
