TALKED WITH RUSS OVER THE PHONE AND CLOSED THE PURCHASE OF 2008 ULTRA CLASSIC ANIVERSARY ADDITON THAT WE GAZED UPON THERE WEB SIGHT. MADE SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS AND THE NEW SCOOT ARRIVED. HAD SOME SMALL ISSUES AND RUSS, RON, PAUL TOOK CARE OF US. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BARTEL'S IN A WORRY FREE PURCHASE. My wife and I just happened to drive by on Friday July 6th from out of town with a flat tire. I pulled in to Bartels and said I was from out of town and need help ! I told them that I needed a tire installed as quick as they could as we were traveling with two other couple on bikes. Dan in the service dept. sais no worries and took the bike right in. While talking with him I explained I was having starter switch problems as well and that my stoplight had quit working while we were in about day three of our seven day trip along the coast. After the tire was finished being installed the tech. Aron came out and said the tire was done a little after their normal closing time. He stayed just to finish my bike. He also explained that he felt could fix my other two problems as well if I came back Sat. morning. I was there right at 8am and Aron had all my problems fixed by 9am. Connie was great. She acknowledged me while helping another customer. I was making a small purchase, but have not shopped Bartell's for years due to poor, if not non-exsisting service. Being a retail manager myself, I am a tough customer, and Connie's sincere smile and hello has made me once again willing to return.
