BARTELS' DOES IT AGAIN…Our new winning race team of Shawn Higbee and Mitsu Hoshino captured 5 th place at the recent famous Daytona 200 race on a Buell 1125R. We were first of the non-factory riders, and it again proves that our famous racing heritage is alive and well. Many of you remember Jay Springsteen the famous #9, wearing Bartels' leathers, and tearing up the flat tracks, and winning 7 National Championships for many years and also Shaun Russell,# 28, who is still flying the Bartels' racing colors ..We always race what we sell at Bartels', which we feel gives us a distinct advantage when providing our many customers the very best performance out of their Harleys.More to come later, as Shawn and Mitsu are heading to Fontana.

Shawn Higbee made an incredible and unexpected run from a 16th place start to a fifth place finish in the 68th running of the Daytona 200 Friday night at Daytona International Speedway with a Buell 1125R that was virtually built from the ground up with Bartels' team headed by Mitsu in the Speedway garages in the days prior to the race.
