The Harley-Davidson Road King Special is outfitted with all the power you need to dominate the road. At the heart of the Road King Special is the Milwaukee-Eight engine. Engineered for the next generation of Harley-Davidson touring bikes, this powerhouse engine utilizes a super efficient eight valve design to provide more power than any previous Harley-Davidson engine, clocking in at a stomach dropping 111 ft-lbs of torque. Not only does the Milwaukee-Eight serve up outstanding power, these bikes are equipped with a the powerful Reflexed™ Linked Brembo® brake system that provides confident, competent stopping power to the entire lineup of 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

To get you noticed on the road, Harley-Davidson changed up the profile of the Road King Special to show off some awesome style. First, they pulled the windshield to give the Road King Special a no nonsense look. Next, Harley-Davidson blacked out the components from the headlight nacelle to the gloss black turbine wheels, giving this bike a dark rider style that you're going to love. To match the attitude packed Dark Custom™ style, Harley-Davidson stretched the saddlebags, and added on a set of mini-ape hanger handlebars, making this bike one mean machine. Of course Harley-Davidson offers the Road King Special in an array of eye popping paint jobs as well, Vivid Black, Charcoal Denim, Olive Gold, and Hard Candy Hot Rod Red Flake all guarantee that your bike is going to stand out from the crowd.

The Road King Special makes you feel as good as you look.Starting with the rubber mounted Milwaukee-Eight engine, you get a smoother idle with less vibration. When you get your bike up to speed on the highway the Milwaukee-Eights counter balancer does a great job reducing your fatigue. The Road King Special also utilizes the all new suspension system shared by the 2017 Touring Family. On the back end, the Road King Special lets you dial in your sag in seconds using the tool free preload adjustment on the rear emulsion shock, and up front you get firm, confident control and a smooth ride thanks to the beefy 43mm front forks equipped with Showa® Dual Bending Valve™ technology.
